Beijing Government Scholarship GATEGORIES OF APPLICANTS AND DURATION OF SCHOLARSHIP Degree Students Scholarship students should re-apply every year. CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY 1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and be in good health. 2. Education background and age limit: - Applicants for bachelor’s degree studies must have high school degree and be under the age of 30. - Applicants for master’s degree studies must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35. - Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40 APPLICATION DOCUMENTS The applicants must fill in and provide the following documents truly, correctly and completely 1. North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) Application Form for Beijing Government Scholarship 2. Highest diploma (notarized photocopy). Applicants employed shall provide proof of studying on application. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English. 3. Academic transcripts (notarized photocopy): Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English. 4. Photocopy of Passport 5. Guarantor Form and Photocopy of Guarantor’s ID 6. No Criminal Record Certificate 7. HSK Certificate 8. Study or research plan: in Chinese or in English, no less than 800 words. 9. Recommendation letters: Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors. 10. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form. 11. Notarized Guardian Guarantor Form (Students whose ages are under 18) The above original documents must be attached with English or Chinese translation, and the translation must be stamped by the issuing authority or translation company; all forms should be completed in English or Chinese. Application Deadline 30th，April VALUES OF SCHOLARSHIP Beijing Government Scholarship duration is one year. There are full scholarship and half scholarship: 1. Full Scholarship One year tuition fee 2. Half Scholarship A half of one year tuition fee.
